Paint/protect ABS at roof vents. 4. Cover/protect ABS sewer and PVC water at right side of structure. 5. Install backflow preventer at hose bib. 6. Install handrail at stairs with returns: see handout. 7. Maximum difference in riser height at landing is 3/8ths of 1 inch. Landing shall be 36 inches in direction of travel minimum. 8. Grade away from foundation. 9. Insulate exposed hot and cold water lines above water heater in crawl space: secure top and bottom third of water heater. 10. Install cover at water heater disconnect in crawl space. 11. Install smoke detector.
